Hmmm... an interesting question... it has to be said although I would never disagree with the jedi master of lil man.... and in chronological order would make sense, I cant help but point out that the reason 1, 2 and 3 were made was on the back of the success of the 4,5 and 6.. also as Anonymous points out, watching them in chronological order would actually negate the impact of the first 3 films

having asked the star wars expert that is my lil man, he eats, sleeps and pee&#39;s star wars all day every day, star wars is his life. He insists that you have to watch them starting at Episode 1 thru to Episode 6 last.<br /><br />So there you have it, my lil man is the jedi master and he knows best ;) hehe!!

I think that they should be watched in released order.the emotional impact of empire would be drastically reduced by watching them in chronological order.
