Musical Monday #37 - Landing In London

While I tend to love pretty much every kind of music, be it Rock, Pop, Classical, Techno, whatever, I tend to listen to rocky-stuff more than anything. And, quite often, I turn out to be a closet fan of various bands/singers/musicians. My play list often has lots of music by the same artists, and if I find a couple of songs I really like, then I end up getting more.

Granted, not ALL of one artists music is good, but if I really like something, then I stick with it.

3 Doors Down are one such band - I love their style of music, the lead singer has a great voice, and in general, they rock. Landing In London is one of their tracks that is more a power-ballad-rock-track that I heard somewhere randomly and loved. And now, here it is as a Musical Monday post.

I woke up today in London
As the plane was touching down
All I could think about was Monday
Maybe I’d be back around
If this keeps me away much longer
I don’t know what I will do
You've got to understand it’s a hard life,
that I’m going through

And when the night falls in around me
I don’t think I’ll make it through
Ill use your light to guide my way
Cuz all I think about is you

L A is getting kind of crazy
New York's getting kind of cold
I keep my head from getting lazy
I just can’t wait to get back home

And all these days I spend away
Ill make up for this I swear
I need your love to hold me up
When it’s all too much to bear

And when the night falls in around me
I don’t think I’ll make it through
Ill use your light to guide my way
Cuz all I think about is you

And all these days I spend away
Ill make up for this I swear
I need your love to hold me up
When it’s all too much to bear

And when the night falls in around me
I don’t think I’ll make it through
Use your light to guide the way

Cuz all I think about is you
