 1. Do you ever go to sleep to simply dream?
When I DO sleep, I don't often dream, but when I do, they range from strange, to violent, to waaaay out there...

2. When you’re really tired, what are some things you do to make sure you stay awake?
Doing "stuff" mostly, pottering around the house.

3. What’s most likely to cause you a prolonged period of not enough sleep?
Insomnia. I actually don't remember the last time I went to bed, fell asleep and stayed asleep - let alone woke up and thought "Wow, I feel great!"

4. When you’re going through a prolonged period of not enough sleep, what parts of your daily routine are likely to change, and how?
I don't really. I seem to function on too-little sleep 99% of the time.

5. In what ways does your personality change when you don't get enough sleep?
When I am REALLY tired and in pain, I want to kill people and have no patience with almost everyone.

6. Who in your life seems regularly not get enough sleep?
Kellie - thanks to me tossing and turning and muttering & Gemma (the 0dd Sister) who also has insomnia.

7. When you're sleeping, do your closer friends tend to be male or female?
My friends don't change their sex depending on how little sleep I get... Am I missing something here?

To predict winning lottery numbers without fail.

I sometimes dream my past - hospital stuff, mostly - but usually, it's just my brain seeing what shit it can pull out of its hat.

10. Do you ever dream about the future?
Yep, I went through a phase of "seeing" air disasters in my sleep, and them happening days later. Hasn't happened in a while though... Otherwise, I find myself doing stuff that I had dreamt about, and realise, as I am doing it, that I've done it before.  If that makes sense.

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Dismantled a laptop and put it back together in full working order...  Taking laptops apart is waaaay intimidating ;)  And yes, clearly I lead a crazy crazy lifestyle!

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for the new year?
I don't make New Year Resolutions

3. How did you spend New Year's Eve?
Kellie has Swine Flu, Kellie has a kidney infection, I'm recovering from a bout of ManFlu... So we went to bed early, watched Fringe, paused it at midnight, said "Happy New Year" then put Fringe back on.
PARTY ANIMALS!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope... At least, I don't think so.

5. What countries did you visit?
England and La La Land

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Sleep, and some more money would be quite nice too ;)

7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Sunday 12th September!  The day me and Kellie we engaged (officially)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not killing anyone, and making it through the year without being killed in return ;)

9. What was your biggest failure?
Winning the lottery?  Don't think I have any moments I can consider failures.  At the end of the day, it's all just stuff that makes you who you are.  I didn't fail to win anything (aside from the lottery), I didn't fail in my relationship with Kellie, I didn't fail to create something that would change peoples lives, so all in all, I win ;)

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No injury, and only a few bouts of germs.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My engagement ring... I mean, *I* didn't buy it, but I was there with Kellie and helped choose it!  Otherwise, I don't think I bought anything funky otherwise.  I DID get a very nice new phone, but that doesn't count as "buying" it ;)

12. Where did most of your money go?
The usual places - bills, shopping, bills...

13. What song will always remind you of 2010?
Erm, pass.

14. What do you wish you'd done more of?

16. What was your favourite TV program?
Fringe, maybe, though I quite like No Ordinary Family.  How I never saw The IT Crowd before is beyond me but I loved that, and The Walking Dead was bloody (!!) excellent!

Hate? Pfft...

So... Many...

19. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Not sure really.  So many artists are rehashing old stuff (and messing it up!) or are generally Auto-Tuned to oblivion, nothing jumps out and makes me think "ooooh!"

The movies that pop to mind are "Zombieland" and "Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel"  Now, they might have been released before 2010, but I saw them last year, so ner.

Spoiled rotten and taken to the zoo!  Then later in the month, taken to see Rhod Gilbert!

22. What kept you sane?
Sane? hehe  I think Kellie kept me more... Level ;)

Not sure I met any new people that I am still seeing...

Just after 11pm, Kellie had had a rough day so we chilled out watching Fringe.  Though I was awake 2am till gone 3am, then awake at 5am reading till 6am, and fell asleep only to be woken just before 7am by Kellies alarm.  Doh.

Yep.

Erm... er.. I'm not sure.  The last few hospital trips have been A&E or to see doctors.

It's all very very good, thank you very much ;)

Yep - not to change who I am, but to remove some of the excess "Me"

1. The phone rings; who will it to be?
Probably someone asking when I can pay this bill or that bill ;)

2. When shopping at the supermarket, do you return your trolly?
Always without fail - I want my £1 coin back!

3. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?
Depends who is in the social setting.  I'm more comfortable with people I know around me, in which case, I'll talk.  If it's a big gathering, or there are several people I'm not sure of, I'll be quiet.

4. Do you take compliments well?
Not at all - not even when people tell me I've lost weight, the first thing that springs to mind is "Yeah, but I'm still wobbling"

5. Do you play Sudoku?
I do, but quite often end up doodling in the boxes when I lose the plot!

6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive?
Yep - I'd be able to set up camp, hunt and eat whatever comes my way. 

7. Did you ever go to camp as a kid?
Only with the scouts.

8. What was your favorite game as a kid?
Runouts - I used to rock at that game!!

Nope - my childhood was a bit bumpy because someone else said "Yes"

As long as it didn't end up that we couldn't be together, or that I was ordered to convert.

I like to try find out new things as often as I can, and would love to learn a new skill.

Town Centre so I could get some food and stuff.

Meh, I don't seem to sleep when I get the chance, and food this week has been a non-event thanks to being all germified.

I have traits from both parents, but look like neither of them.

Shower-and-Hair-Wash takes me about 5-10 minutes.  Add a shave and conditioning my hair, and it can go up to 15-20 minutes.

Pffft I can barely touch my toes...

District 9, despite being told it's pants.

32. What did you do for New Year’s?
Dressed up as the hulk, made lots of noise outside, and partied!

Not many.  If I timed it, I'd be surprised if it was over four or five hours.

Oh hell no.  Gemma was obsessed as a kid, and Tam loves them, but they drive me bonkers... Care Bear Stare?  Can I change my answer about shooting a gun?

Ticket, Drink, Popcorn!

Texas Hold Em, kinda-sorta...  As long as I have my cheat sheet to hand.  Though I DID win a game the other night, using snacks as money.  Of course, I didn't realise I had won... And everyone was eating my stakes.

Always always.

Boxers is my limit, otherwise, nothing.

Nope, but I do like to make Kellie happy :D

I often think I'd love to be a paramedic or similar... Or some kind of computer whizz :D

I like to think so - though a lot of people don't "get" me when they first meet me.  Love me or Hate me, I'm me :D

They seem to smudge into one lump at the moment thanks to the plague I am carrying!  Otherwise, I quite like early morning - it's quiet and peaceful and still...
