Tagged - Another Stolen One

Yes, I am doing an inordinant amount of tags... I will be holding back for a while now after this one.  As usual, I tag everyone.

For those of you with nothing better to do, you should thank me for providing hours of entertainment while suffering from insomnia ;)
Favorite person (outside family)?
This is a tough one... One is the person I love, and the other is my best friend.

Favorite food?
At the moment, it HAS to be chinese food... Sweet & Sour Pork, Spicy Rice Noodles, Chicken Curry *drool*

Quirks about you?
I have several quirks - my washing up skills make people giggle mostly.

How would the person who loves you most describe you in ten words or less?
I am sure Kellie would use lots of lovely words that will make me say "pffft" or blush.  Though she is partial to calling me a "pretty, cute man" at the moment...

Any regrets in life?
My only regrets are things relating to Bethany.  Everything else - every single thing - has made me who I am, so while I've lived through a lot of bad, a fair bit of good - all of it has made the Dan that is sitting before you now.

Favorite Charity/Cause?
I work a little when I can in relation to various CHD Charities, but it is hard sometimes.

Favorite Blog recently?
Wow... I don't really have one - I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis.  I tend to prefer the personal blogs over the others.

Something you can’t get enough of?
Anything relating to Kellie.  Mushy? Yarp :)

Worst job you’ve ever had?
Ugh, a "packer" in a magazine factory, which involved putting the Demo CDs on the front of computer magazines.  For seven/eight hours a day.  Honestly, I had qualifications, skills, knowledge... And felt like my brain wanted to get out and shoot me in the face.

What job would you pay NOT to have?
A Packer in a Magazine Factory ;)

If you could be a fly on the wall, where?
I am sure there are some choice shower rooms in the world to be had...

Favorite Bible verse right now?
Um... erm.... ahhh.... The one where women are the bad guys.

Guilty Pleasure?
I don't honestly think I have any pleasure that makes me feel guilty...  I think...

Got any confessions?
Ooooh I have plenty, yes :D

If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it?
If I had to spend it on "stuff" for me, and not pay off bills, then I'd get a new laptop :D

Favorite thing about your house?
erm... I'll get back to you on that one ;)

Least favorite thing about your house?
The fact I want it just so, but don't know where to start.

One thing you are bad at?
Talking about things that are bothering me.

One thing you’re good at?
Procrastinating!  Otherwise... I have lots of skills I am proud of...

If you could change something about your circumstances, what?
Heh... Better off, flexible job, less pain, close to Kellie, able to drive, kids here more often...

Who would you like to meet someday? Living or dead?
The only person I want to be with again is Bethy, but that's a while off yet.

What makes you feel sexy?
I don't know if this is a man-thing or what, but I don't think I've ever (EVER) felt sexy.  Desired/Wanted, yes, but sexy?

Who is your real life hero?
The kids that live with shit medical stuff, and the nurses & doctors that look after them.

What is the hardest part of your job?
Remembering to do it ;)

When are you most relaxed?
I can be relaxed just sitting with Kellie, I can be relaxed while lounging in bed with nothing to do, or playing WoW...

What stresses you out?
Timekeeping

What can you not live without?
Either my phone or my computer.  Or my friends.  Or Kellie.

Do you agree or disagree with the recent article that reported that blogs are authored by narcissists?
Disagree.  Yes, there are people out there that do it for the "Look At Me" factor, but I think myself - and the majority of the blogs I read - are just normal people plonking their thoughts and their lives on the internet as a therapy.

Why do you blog?
It clears my head, let's me vocalise the stuff I want to get off my chest (mostly - I still self-censor and avoid certain things), and let's me say things that, if I tried to say in person, would just sound crap.  That, and I'm a narcissist ;)

Your Best Subject & IQ Score
Spatial 155

Spatial is your strongest intelligence, which probably isn't much of a surprise, since you seem to have sought out these kinds of questions on the test. In fact, a score of 155 is exceptionally high, even for someone who concentrated in this area. Scores on this test are calibrated across OkCupid's 2.5 million users to roughly correlate with the standard Mensa and Stanford-Binet tests. Any score above 120 indicates better than average ability, while a score over 145 indicates a truly superior mind.

Looking at the graph below, you'll see that you did very well in all 4 subjects. Such a well-rounded intelligence is quite rare.

Your highest IQ is Spatial
High math scorers excel in quantative reasoning, logic, and analysis. You did well here because you are able to quickly calculate sums and understand the relation of the part to the hole, which is particularly useful on a dating website. If you're not an OkCupid member already, you should sign up (it's free!) We could always use more smart people.

Math is also the rarest of the strengths. While most people assume math skills are inborn, and this area of intelligence causes the most frustration in the general population, it is possible to hone this part of your brain. Your skills are already strong, but even doing simple things like calculating the restaurant tip in your head and memorizing phone numbers instead of typing them into your cell will develop your natural ability further. If you're in college and not already studying something technical, you should seriously consider it. People with high aptitude in this area usually get the best jobs and make the most money.

High verbal scorers are good with words, have large vocabularies, and are superlative writers and speakers. Since language is the primary way human beings communicate, high verbal scorers tend to be popular and, all things considered, are the best-liked of our four measurement groups (seriously, we know this by anonymously correlating IM volume on OkCupid).

A high verbal score also indicates well-developed critical thinking skills and the ability to see through bullshit—a high scorer can more quickly get the gist of an argument or line of reasoning. We were surprised to see that many high verbal scorers on our site are successful in business because writers we know don't make much money. We now think this is because well developed bullshit-detection, when combined with verbal high scorers' natural powers of persuasion, makes an exceptional negotiator. In fact, OkCupid's CEO holds most of the in-office records on the verbal questions of this test.

Of course writers, journalists, editors, and other more artistic types score highly in Verbal skill as well, making this the most diverse of our four measurement groups.

High spatial scorers understand physical space, recognize color, and interpret visual images quickly and accurately. It should go without saying that these people are the most artistic of our four measurement groups. They're also the most confident and self-sufficient. Also, according to the picture-rating data we've accumulated on OkCupid, high spatial scorers tend to be significantly more attractive than average. We've asked a couple scientists friends of ours why this is, and they have no idea (they're geologists), but the correlation is quite strong. Our current theory is: this group is the best-dressed of our test takers by a wide margin, and that's affected the ratings. Just so you know, we have actually checked all the above claims anonymously against our user data.

In college and the job market, visual art, like painting or illustration, is the obvious choice for high spatial scores. Graphic design, web design, and advertising are other possible, and perhaps more stable, careers. An interesting trend we've observed in our data: high spatial scorers who have found an outlet for their natural creativity, even if it's not their full-time pursuit, have a very high overall 'life-satisfaction' rating, while high spatial scorers without that outlet—like those who have become lawyers or accountants—have the lowest rating among our entire user base.

Those with high social intelligence excel, in short, at reading people. They are able to sense the motivations, the attitudes, and in some cases the inner thoughts of those around them. On the IQ Adventure test, we tested for body-language and lie-detection, as these are the most important specific skills. We've found, after correlating scores here with the known patterns of our user-base, those who score high on social intelligence form the most and longest-lasting inerpersonal relationships. Verbal high scorers have a slightly better response rate on messages sent, but social high scorers have by far the better success rate with real-word dates.

Social intelligence is the most practical of all the subjects we measure. Your interpersonal skills are tested hundreds of times a day, and far more can depend on even the most routine conversation that on, say, a word problem or logic puzzle. Interestingly, the savant phenomenon is almost unknown in this intelligence dimension. It appears that up-bringing and practice are the only ways to develop exceptional social ability. It cannot be inborn. This group's power of empathy andIn short, ability to sense (and sometimes manipulate) other people's desires provides a broad foundation for professional and social success. In short, having this type of intelligence enhances all of your other abilities.

Math is your second strongest area

Your Grade = A
Superb knowledge and above average strategy

86% Game_Knowledge and 80% Game_Skill!

Wow! You are part of the 5.9% of the population that got this score.* It seems that you know almost everything about the game of Calvinball and its history. When it came to strategy you did well too. You are already an amazing Calvinball player, and with some practice you could become a true expert!

You are clearly already talented enough to beat Calvin. A match versus the quick-witted tiger would be close. I'm going to give you the edge, but his superior strategy might be enough to propel him to victory.

*This is a made up number.

Tagged - Sexual Hell

Raw score: 52%
You're a fallen angel. There's some innocence there, but the sexual dark side has called you and, possibly, is already using you. But you're not evil, just naughty; dirty, but not filthy. You're certainly hellbound, and you'll most likely seek out other imps like yourself to work your wicked will. There might be a moral core inside you, but it's been overtaken by lust.

AVOID: the heavenbound. Your path is downward, and you'll need a guide.

If you could go back in time and change something, what would it be?
I tend to not dwell on the past. Nothing like some people with their "what will be will be" theory, but dwelling on the past and wanting to change something is kinda pointless.

Dan, Your Karmic Alignment is: Zen Intuition!

Zen Intuition

Score: 16 You have a direct perception of truth. You are very keen and don't use it to take advantage. When you commit positive deeds, you don't do them to get ahead, you do positive deeds simply because it makes you feel good. Your intentions are almost always meant well and all this positive karmaic energy is bound to come back to you in a great way!

HA! Take THAT short witchy one!

I tag all of you, and a heads up, the formatting was mental when I posted the code in - so had to strip it all down... So don't be surprised if yours comes out a bit odd looking.
