Bloody Broadband...
In other rant-worthy posting... Orange Broadband were great. Brilliant, even. Never had a problem. NOW however, I have a problem. With them, rather, as they are now shit.
My connection speed is supposed to be 20mb. The "most your line can handle" is 15mb. This last week, if I have reached FIVE I've been lucky, but this evening...
THAT, ladies and geeks, is three and a half. Reasoning? Oooh yes, because of internet traffic in the area, they are allowed to throttle our connection. Which the user agreement states I allow because it ensures a fair distribution of all services to all users.
Which is why, in six months time, I am going to tell them exactly where to poke their internet connection. We can't do anything online - it's even taking ages to blog - and streaming through iPlayer or similar is just impossible. WoW? Nope, too slow to do anything so that's out the window too.
Screw you Orange, you've finished my day of brilliantly.

Mine has never reached 4 since I started! However Pipex has no been taken over by 'Talk Talk' and a quick glance at the paperwork that has just arrived shows the price will rocket - no choice! I may be moving soon once I have had a look around!
Apparently the future is not Orange, this is the forth blog I have read in recent weeks slating Orange for one reason or another.
