so i hoovered the garden again...

no, really... again... little sods - i will accept any decent offer for these kids!

anyways - we finally had a chap out to see mr washing machine. he couldn't believe it didn't explode in fire!! a point on the drum and bearings ruptured, showering soapy water everywhere, flushing the grease out from every piece of mechanical gear inside, and splashed across the electrical pcb. the smoke we saw was the start of a fire, and had it been left to it's own devices, it would have gone up.

glad that didn't shit me up.

anyways - we now have to wait to see if LG (the makers) will repair it - which is unlikely, as everything but the case is foo-bar'd, or if they will replace it. if the latter, then we get a nice spanky new machine. on the down side (yes, it gets worse) we could be waiting SEVERAL WEEKS for a repair or replacement. taking the piss methinks. jo's mum can deal with the occasional load or three, but to do ALL our washing over the next few weeks is not fair on her at all...

so - plan o f action - tomorrow they will file the papers and probably call. then thursday i get to call and make comment about length of time, inconvenice (sp - can't be arsed!) and slowly build up the pressure...

so all is going crappy as ever!

oh - last point - some bloke was outside bethys school yesterday with his 6-7 feet burmese python... needless to say, i was less than impressed and couldn't wait to get the hell out of dodge!!
