Farleys Rusks
OK, so they WERE called Farleys Rusks, but Heinz now owns them - after much outcry at them being renamed "Heinz Rusks" they changed it to "Farleys Rusks - by Heinz" or something.
Now, it IS a baby food. You add some milk to one and it turns into moosh. You add one to a bottle of milk *cough*which you shouldn't do apparently*cough* and it's a thick drink. Or, at some point, you just give them a rusk to chew on - helps the teeth come out, keeps them quiet, and it's lovely.
However - most adults I know LOVE them. All of my friends that have had kids end up buying rusks for themselves. Sod the kids - give em to the adults.
There isn't much info on the web about them - America, you can buy them online - but for your reading pleasure, I give you - INFO!
Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Calcium Carbonate, Emulsifier (Monoglycerides), Niacin, Iron, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Vitamin DThey also seem to give 80% or more of the daily intake of various vitamins and minerals.
Eat em if you got em. Now I have to go to bed. It's gone 1am!
