See Spot...
Run Spot Run.
Yes, finally, after spending stupid amounts of time around two spotty children (Ruths girls, Ashely and Madison), Tam has finally contracted the Pox! Night before last, I found a couple of spots on her, and thought "Hmmm, maybe", then the following morning, the two spots became ten. By lunch time there was over twenty. I can't be arsed to count them this morning.
OK, the pics don't do it justice, but she is pretty spotty. No where NEAR as spotty as Madison was - she had it really bad. Time will tell I suppose :)
Of course, there is a downside to this. We can't go see Gemma and Amy. For a fortnight, just to be safe, and neither me nor Jo have had the pox either. Yay.
So far she's being good, and has only started noticing the spot herself today, but isn't touching. So she's plastered in Calamine Lotion, and we have the Piriton and Calpol at the ready.
In other news, I feel icky. I've had a pounding headache for nearly five days now and it's driving me mad. I'm aching, and feel rough in general. Fingers crossed it's just tiredness from going non-stop over the last few weeks, and not the lurgy coming to get me.

oh dear... hope she's feeling better soon and that you don't catch it.
Sounds like you've got it, too, Dan. You should contact your GP as shingles can be grim. Give a call and ask for advice. Be sure to say you've never had chicken pox before. It's very serious.
I hope Tam's better soon. Poor mite. The itch!
The first thing I thought of was calamine lotion!
is that drool I see?
Hope she's better soon...
And yes, contact your doctor as Chicken Pox can be very serious in adults!
