A tag from nowhere! Almost out from left field. Well, Australia, but still... I won't give Clay over at Lime Kettles a hard time about being a convict visitor just yet, but who knows - it made Tim the man he is today, albeit short.

And yes, I am trying to find as many different "Tag" style images for these sort of posts! hehe

An Interesting Animal I Had...
Hands down, this HAS to be the Triops I used to raise and keep. Seriously kept me entertained the entire time I had them - and I want more!

An Interesting Animal I Ate...
When I was in the scouts, we had a Bushtucker Man visit with some Witchetty Grubs - a white larvae about as long as my middle finger. Which I ate raw. It was different, crunchy on the outside, lumpy bits inside and tasted sort of like strange eggs.

An Interesting Thing I Did Or With An Animal...
I once disturbed a nest of these horrible black beetles in our garden. As any little kid would do, I was fascinated by the creepy crawlies - until a dozen of the things attacked me with pincers and had to be burned off my fingers while I was screaming.

An Interesting Animal At A Museum...
The Human Species - I love to see where we've come from, from Neanderthals to Modern Man and everything in between, the things we've accomplished, the nature of the Humans and their need to destroy, grow, explore and know "why".

An Interesting Animal In Its Natural Habitat...
I love sharks, especially the Great White - the sheer size and power of these creatures sliding through the depth just holds me in awe.
