Musical Monday #30 - The Middle

I love love love this song, and it's actually a very fitting song for me. In fact, I can think of a few others of you out there that this song applies to.

On top of actually having a meaning - albeit a rather flimsy one - this song is one of my favorite songs. It's a good modern day track that gets my hand bopping, my feet tapping and, if I'm lucky, Tam loves to dance like a loon to it.

Jimmy Eat World - The Middle is one of those songs that you often hear and enjoy, then forget about, only for it to come on again at another point for you to remember it, rock out and then forget to see who it is singing it. Listening to it - loud, of course - makes me feel great, regardless of the words or whatever. Bethy also used to rock out to it, and Jaysen sings along like a pro to it.

If you're interested, the song is all about fitting in and being popular - but that you don't have to be like everyone else in order to do so. Go for it - don't conform, be yourself, and especially, don't let the buggers get you down!
