Musical Monday #59 - By The Way

A Musical Monday post?  On a Monday?  Wow...

I won't go into how long it's taken me to chose a song though.  I considered something I hate, I considered something for someone (Not necessarily Kellie either!), I considered something old (well, old ish)...

In a way, I covered a couple of those.  The Red Hot Chilli Peppers - By The Way is a song from the deepest darkest depths of 2002 or so, and it will ALWAYS remind me of Jaysen.  He would have only been three or four years old, but used to sing along to this song ALL the time.

And when I say sing, he would make up most of the words except for the chorus.  If he saw the video come on, he sat glued to the screen.  When the song came on, he would stop what he was doing and rock out.  It got to the point where he would ask for the song, but never knew what it was called - so would either rock out in front of me, or use a random line from the song...
