Kids TV

I have never made any bones about it, but I love Kids TV.  Not all of it I should add, but a lot of it does make me chuckle or generally brainwashes me into enjoying it.  Even before we dated, Kellie and myself sat on my sofa watching Cartoon Network (I was dying of ManFlu!) so it's not just me!

At the moment I am particularly enjoying Horrible Histories.  If you've not seen it, you should - it's on iPlayer and most kids love it.  This lot here all enjoy watching it.  Educational BUT funny - enough to make adults chuckle too!

Most episodes comprise of different sections devoted to different points in time - Terrible Tudors, Frightful First World War, Measly Middle-Ages, and so on - and they usually tell you what went on.  Quite often, there is a song or two in each episode, but the two that always make me chuckle the most are the Kings & Queens of England (because it's educational AND amusing) and the Dick Turpin Highwayman song (because, it's reeeeally taking the piss out of Adam Ant!)

The group of writers that make it also do a lot of proper TV stuff, but with them and the actors that perform really make it enjoyable. I would love to see some behind-the-scenes stuff to see how they get it all together...

So, for your amusement on this dreary Friday afternoon, I give you two videos.  Enjoy!
