Still Sick!

Big surprise huh.

Stuart (school friend) came over last night with his wife Michelle and their little one Kieran (or Keiran.. the former, I think) who is 6 weeks older than Tam. Had a great evening even if I was 98% voiceless and sat around chatting for a couple of hours, catching up and talking about the kids.

Of course, the downside to this is that this morning, my throat is extra-ouchie, my voice extra-quiet, and in general I feel extra-poopie. Jo's knackered after Tam messed her around last night, so I am feeling crappy with a grouchy baby on my lap/desk. She's semi-entertained with my mobile phone, but I have to watch her with it as she played with Jo's the other day and dialled 999 (That'd be the same as the Americans 911). The emergency operater was calling down the phone "Do you need a Policecar or an Ambulance? Hello?!" hehehe Jo felt very foolish with the "Ahem, sorry, baby called you" excuse. For The Record: Despite a locked keypad, you can still call an emergency.

Anyways, half-term break is drawing to a close, with Jaysen back to school Monday. And I've been sick the whole time. Bloody marvellous.

Anyways, Emma has sent me one of these "Lateral Thinking" jobbies, and I will, straight off the bat, announce that I don't do lateral thinking, aside from the "Open the fridge, take the elephant out, put the giraffe in" one that always circulates my inbox. Anyways:

An American, who had never been to any country other than the US, stands on solid ground and looks at the Indian Ocean. How?
Now, I suspect it is something stupid like "He lives on an American-Owned island in the Indian Ocean, or there is a lake called "Indian Ocean" in the States somewhere, but I'm not fussed. I am sure some of you can figure it out. Of course, if you all just say "We don't know" then Emma can feel extra-smart today.

Still, being Saturday, I'm going to go find something to do. Like, I dunno, sit in front of my computer all day and hassle the world.

A usual day, really.
