Well, Just Crap

Suffice to say, in the grand scheme of things, this has been a pretty crappy week. It's not been helped by the fact I've not felt very well the last couple of days, but all in all, I'm chalking this week down to "Craptastic" simply because I can. I've not even taken Jaysen to school the last couple of days, and this morning, didn't even roll out of bed till almost 9.30am. Jo took the Boy in this morning, Ruth took him in yesterday.

Things came to a head yesterday afternoon when I was feeling extra-sniffley, and Jo asked me a mundane, run-of-the-mill question which kicked me off. I sat here sobbing like a kid that dropped his ice cream, hoping that Jo would be busy downstairs long enough for me to pull myself together. I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for the pesky kid. Jaysen caught me, went downstairs and squealed to mummy. I spent an hour just bawling, managed to pull myself together and decided to check my email.

Thank you to everyone that sent messages or comments to me over the last few days - I've not been checking very often, hence the lack of replies to anyone that might be waiting on one *cough*Terri*cough*. I've not even read any other blogs in a couple of weeks, so have some serious catching up to do. But plodding through the mails, it was nice to see people offering me words of encouragement, wisdom and general advice. A couple of you almost started me off again, but you shall remain nameless. And yes, one of you also clicked on to the reasoning for the funk, which I am still not going in to, as I refuse to sound like I am begrudging anyone anything.

This morning I feel much better mentally, though I still feel icky. I chatted to Cass on MSN for a while and had a chuckle and suchlike, then managed to eat without feeling like I'm going to be sick, so things are on the up once again. But not literally, thankfully ;)
