Google Mail service has already be restored for some users.

Three guesses who is in that 0.3%... And guess who ISN'T included in that "Restored for some users" part... Dagnabbit.

Incidentally, if you want to check the status of any of Googles systems, the Apps Status Dashboard is a pretty nifty site.  If you check it when you have problems, it might stop you rebooting and resetting your modem, your router, checking connections, clearing cache, cookies and poking through your settings to make sure you've not blocked something...
