Devonshire Adventures

All in Devon is still gorgeous and glorious. The weather, however, has not been fun. Not that it's stopped me going out. I've been up on the moors twice and gotten soaked both times. The first time included blood and the insides of Jaysens leg, the second time included some pretty mental winds that blew the girls to Kingdom come.

Speaking of Jaysen, since the last blog post, James took us to Ashburton "hospital" which is a minor injuries place. The guy took one look at it, and said it had to be stitched, and unlike normal populated-town-hospitals, we were seen, anaesatised, stitched, wrapped and done in half an hour. Had we been at home, we'd have been there for our hours.

Or more.

Very pretty.

Other than that, it's all very nice and chilled. Last night we sat chilling out in front of an open fire, the 0dd Mother-in-Law arrived a day early so that was nice too.

All in all, it's gorgeous down here, and the Devon countryside is amazing. James took Jaysen and I down a proper back road. It wasn't even single track, was covered in twigs and branches from the winds, and coming face to face with cars travelling in the opposite direction was definitely Squeaky Bum Time.

So imagine our surprise at a large delivery van squeezing his way along the "road"

Honestly, it's such a lovely place, if you've never been, I can't recommend it enough.
