Musical Monday #25 - The Safety Dance

Some old music is, shall we say, naff. Some old music is timeless. And some old music is just soooo good, it must be shared by all to everyone else in the world.

Honestly, if you've never heard this song, you have to love it. Also, if it doesn't stir you, you have to imagine me and Jo's older brother Grant randomly dancing to it. In public.

Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance is one of those songs that you hear, sing along, whistle it in your head for a few hours, then forget it until it rears up again. It's been in several movies over the years, but always reminds me of Bio-Dome.

Not to mention the video is rather... odd. Fitting, for this blog, really! Enjoy!

I love this song - especially the 12" version (I hate to admit it, but I have this and all of its many remixes!!)
