Place Your Bets
The weather forecast for Basildonia and most of the country is currently "snow". And when I say "snow" I mean the look of a mince pie scattered with icing sugar, not "get out your plough and start digging".
So who wants to bet that the dusting of snow grinds the country to a halt. Schools closed because the heating suddenly breaks down. Trains delayed and cancelled because of slippery tracks. Flights delayed due to snow on the runway. Traffic chaos because of the "sudden" cold snap, and the rock salt on the road not being strong enough. Elderly people croaking in the sudden cold.
Because we're a country that can't handle any extreme of weather. We either suffer floods or droughts, winds, rains, storms, snow, hail...
Whooo, a moaning post already! But don't say I didn't warn you about the weather.

well if it happens then the country will stop dead again like it did before,, but so far here in Bedford there is no snow,, just cold
I was hoping for snow (just so I could pelt a snowball at the missus) but was wishful thinking!
Well we have had all these threats of snow, but as yet nothing but wind, fog and rain.
